An anonymous watchmaker in Regency London once tried to design a travel clock that needed to be small whilst still easy to read. He achieved this by making the rounded glass face of the clock a magnifying glass. Little would he know that his spherical Eye of Time Clock would become a highly collectible treasure and desirable desk accessory.

The reverse side of the clock features a decorative classic compass design.
